Let’s Relax

Close your eyes and give yourself a tight hug.  Hold that tight hug for 60 seconds, and then slowly let your whole body relax from the top of your head down to bottom of your feet.  Breathe deeply and slowly.  Once your entire body is relaxed, be still for additional 60 seconds.

Now is the time to relax.  You have completed tasks that helped you know the best time to rest and sleep, avoid drinking water before sleeping, be a morning person, honor Sabbath, new moon, feast days, overcome resentment, replace pain with pleasurable activities that brings you closer to God.

Get ready to start our next series Week 10: Following God’s Eating Plan

This Week's Prayers:

  • Day 57: God, You reign forever and ever in the heavens and on earth. We are so thankful for You.  You deserve all the glory, honor and praise. Let Your kingdom come and will be done in our lives.  Help us to get more sleep and sleep in 90 minute cycles, so we can feel more refresh when we wake up.  There are many things that hinder our ability to sleep.  Help us overcome painful cramps; get enough calcium that can easily absorb in our bodies.  Help us minimize the use of caffeinated products.  At least 3 hours before sleep help us to end all screen time on phone, computer, TV and do activities such as soak in hot tub and spending time with You.  Most importantly, help us to meditate on scriptures, pray consistently to You, remembering the 23rd psalms because you are our shepherd and we shall not want.  Thank you for cleansing, healing and rebuilding our bodies as we sleep.  Thank you for regulating our hormones and restoring our brain, nervous system, respiratory system and organs.  We ask You to forgive us for all our debts, trespasses, and sins as we forgive our debtors and those who have trespassed and sinned against us.  Lead us not into temptation.  Everyday help us to be equipped with the full armor of God as You deliver us from evil.  For Yours is the Kingdom, Power and Glory.  In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.
  • Day 58: God, You reign forever and ever in the heavens and on earth. We are so thankful for You.  You deserve all the glory, honor and praise. Let Your kingdom come and will be done in our lives.  Help us hydrate our bodies and avoid drinking liquids 2 or 3 hours before sleeping so we can have uninterrupted sleep.  Thank you for allowing the water we drink to help generate electrical and magnetic energy of our cells, help prevent DNA damages, help repair our body, help the bone marrow fight cancer, help convert food to energy, help prevent constipation, help decrease premenstrual cycle pain and hot flashes.  Thank you for giving us the tools that will help us remove the harmful chemicals from our water.  We don’t want cancer, birth defects, miscarriages, acne, eczema, psoriasis, damaged liver, overworked kidneys, decrease fertility, increased risk of Alzheimer and dementia. Amen.
  • Day 59: God, You reign forever and ever in the heavens and on earth. We are so thankful for You.  You deserve all the glory, honor and praise. Let Your kingdom come and will be done in our lives.  Help us go to bed at sunset and wake up at sunrise, because Jesus rose very early in the morning before sunrise to pray and we should follow His example.  Help us to wake up gradually and not suddenly.  We don’t want to overeat and over indulge because our guards are down and we are tired.  Forgive us for becoming lazy and lacking motivation and not getting things done.  Also, we ask You to please forgive us for all our debts, trespasses, and sins as we forgive our debtors and those who have trespassed and sinned against us.  Lead us not into temptation.  Everyday help us to be equipped with the full armor of God as You deliver us from evil.  For Yours is the Kingdom, Power and Glory.  In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.
  • Day 60: God, You reign forever and ever in the heavens and on earth. We are so thankful for You.  You deserve all the glory, honor and praise. Let Your kingdom come and will be done in our lives.  Help us to schedule time to honor God on the Sabbath, new moon and feast days.  Help us to read and study the Bible.  Help us to sing Psalms and spiritual songs.  Help us plead for forgiveness and healing.  Help us to submit to Your will.  When we clean our homes, cars, Help us to meditate on Psalms 51.  In all occasions, help us to honor we.  We don't want to take You for granted and bring shame to Your great and holy name.  Forgive is for not taking the time to honor You. Amen.
  • Day 61: God, You reign forever and ever in the heavens and on earth. We are so thankful for You.  You deserve all the glory, honor and praise. Let Your kingdom come and will be done in our lives.  Help us to focus on unresolved resentment and abandonment.  We don’t want to be physically and emotionally sick.  We don’t want to constantly recall and re-experience stressful events.  Help us to express negative feelings and forgive others.  We want to experience healing for our wounds and medicine for our body and soul.  Lord, help us to relax.  Help us to visualize the resentful situation and react to it by showing love and forgiveness.  Help us to pray that God fill our heart with love and gratitude even in awful circumstances.  Lord, we ask You to please forgive us for all our debts, trespasses, and sins as we forgive our debtors and those who have trespassed and sinned against us.  Lead us not into temptation.  Everyday help us to be equipped with the full armor of God as You deliver us from evil.  For Yours is the Kingdom, Power and Glory.  In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.
  • Day 62: God, You reign forever and ever in the heavens and on earth. We are so thankful for You.  You deserve all the glory, honor and praise. Let Your kingdom come and will be done in our lives.  Help us to participate in pleasurable activities.  We don’t want pain, depression and hopelessness.  Thank you for being there for Kechi and showing me how prayer, music and singing can help us recover through pain.  We want to have a deeper relationship with you.   Help us to participate in pleasurable activities that alleviate our pain, but also deepen our relationship with You.  Help us to invite the Holy Spirit as we are participating in that activity, because we know that the Holy Spirit refreshes us, heals us, comforts us and brings us joy.  We ask You to please forgive us for all our debts, trespasses, and sins as we forgive our debtors and those who have trespassed and sinned against us.  Lead us not into temptation.  Everyday help us to be equipped with the full armor of God as You deliver us from evil.  For Yours is the Kingdom, Power and Glory.  In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

I shall not [a]want.

2 He makes me to lie down in [b]green pastures;

He leads me beside the [c]still waters.

3 He restores my soul;

He leads me in the paths of righteousness

For His name’s sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil;

For You are with me;

Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;

You anoint my head with oil;

My cup runs over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me

All the days of my life;

And I will [d]dwell in the house of the Lord

[e]Forever.

Psalm 51 New King James Version (NKJV)

A Prayer of Repentance

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David when Nathan the prophet went to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba.

51 Have mercy upon me, O God,

According to Your lovingkindness;

According to the multitude of Your tender mercies,

Blot out my transgressions.

2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,

And cleanse me from my sin.

3 For I acknowledge my transgressions,

And my sin is always before me.

4 Against You, You only, have I sinned,

And done this evil in Your sight—

That You may be found just [a]when You speak,

And blameless when You judge.

5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,

And in sin my mother conceived me.

6 Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts,

And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.

7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;

Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

8 Make me hear joy and gladness,

That the bones You have broken may rejoice.

9 Hide Your face from my sins,

And blot out all my iniquities.

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God,

And renew a steadfast spirit within me.

11 Do not cast me away from Your presence,

And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.

12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,

And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.

13 Then I will teach transgressors Your ways,

And sinners shall be converted to You.

14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God,

The God of my salvation,

And my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.

15 O Lord, open my lips,

And my mouth shall show forth Your praise.

16 For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it;

You do not delight in burnt offering.

17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,

A broken and a contrite heart—

These, O God, You will not despise.

18 Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion;

Build the walls of Jerusalem.

19 Then You shall be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness,

With burnt offering and whole burnt offering;

Then they shall offer bulls on Your altar.

Make a joyful shout to the God of Jacob.

2 Raise a song and strike the timbrel,

The pleasant harp with the lute.

3 Blow the trumpet at the time of the New Moon,

At the full moon, on our solemn feast day.

4 For this is a statute for Israel,

A law of the God of Jacob.

5 This He established in Joseph as a testimony,

When He went throughout the land of Egypt,

Where I heard a language I did not understand.

6 “I removed his shoulder from the burden;

His hands were freed from the baskets.

7 You called in trouble, and I delivered you;

I answered you in the secret place of thunder;

I tested you at the waters of [b]Meribah. Seal
