Week 3: Building Faith
Today’s Easy Task: Check in with God
How to rock this task:
- Ask God how are you doing with following through on the plan he has for you concerning health and wealth
- Ask God to help you better follow through on the plan He has for you concerning health and wealth
Today's Devotional:
You’ve made it to Day 16. Well done! This week You are focusing on building faith!
Yesterday, you learned that every thought that goes through your head isn’t automatically true, and you should compare them to scriptures. Today, you are focusing on the fact that God has created you for a great purpose. Your purpose is unique and special. Your purpose is more significant than anything you could ever imagine (1 Corinthians 2:9). The details of your one-of- a-kind plan is so intricate that you must check in with God often to see if you are fulfilling the plan correctly. If you forget something or do something the wrong way, God can correct you and guide you in the right direction (Hebrews 13:21).
Are you following God’s purpose for your life using His plans?
You have to know the scriptures to know His plans for you. Knowing scriptures helps you understand how to follow God’s plan for your life. If the Lord isn’t the one planning, then whatever you build will be worthless (Psalm 127:1). The Lord must be leading you. You must be committing your ways to the Lord and allowing God to lead you (Psalm 37:5).
God has given you the ability to follow your own will. That means that you can choose to follow or not follow His instructions. Some ways seem right to you, but in reality, it leads to destruction (Proverbs 16:25). However, as you study and meditate on God’s word, you receive insight and direction on the best choices and decisions you need to need to make. So don’t neglect God’s Word, but keep it in your heart. For the Word of God is life (Proverbs 4:13). That’s why constant fellowship with the Holy Spirit is critical. The Holy Spirit reveals secrets to you and helps you discover how to implement God’s plan for you (Jeremiah 7:23).
Remember to not just listen to the word, but do what it says for that’s the way you will be productive and fruitful (James 1:22).
Today’s Prayer:
God, Jehovah Rohi – You are my shepherd. You care for me. You meet my every need with abundance. You give me rest because You are with me. I don’t have to worry, but I can rest knowing that you will help me do what it takes to fulfill my purpose in life. That’s why You are great and mighty. Compared to You, I am meek and ordinary. Yet You deeply care for me. Thank You! I want Your will to be done in my life and country, as it is in heaven. Give me today's wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and strength to accomplish my 5 health and 5 wealth goals and receive my daily bread. Forgive me for considering my own will before Yours. Help me to put You first in all areas of my life. Help me forgive those who crossed my boundaries. Lead me away from all things that tempt me and deliver me from evil. Thank You for always being with me. You are the Alpha and Omega. You are the beginning and the end. I love You! You are my eternal source of peace and provision. In Jesus name, Amen
